Is High Dose Vitamin D Dangerous?

This week a Prostate Forum reader asks  “A physician in area has recently stated that taking large doses of vitamin D is potentially dangerous. He mentioned a study that seemed to counter the wisdom in taking vitamin D to control prostate cancer, saying that it made it worse. He suggests taking no more than is found in typical over-the-counter supplements. What is your opinion of this advice?”
