I been on Lupron for three years now and my doctor says I should be taking 1200 mg of calcium a day. I would like to know more about what you think about calcium intake. Is this too much?

Another VERY valuable pearl in Dr. Myers’ long string of gems for prostate cancer patients and their families.

Well Snuffy, here I am at 84 years old taking 3 Xtandi a day and a Lupron shot every three months. Also a daily Avodart and some natural meds. All per your instructions.

This regimen has reduced my PSA from 25 to <0.015 where it has been for 4 months.

I feel as though I have aged 20 years over the last 12 months of treatment. I get a bit of exercise, though not nearly enough. Getting my butt out of the chair became very difficult soon after I started these meds.

I would really like to reduce my meds to the minimum as soon as possible since I seem to be feeling worse all the time. I guess aging is a problem.

Nice beard – I have not watched for awhile.. Great information. The problem is you say talk to your doc about the things you talk about, but not a lot of docs have the time or the knowledge to talk like you. I’m 85 in a couple of weeks I have some of the characteristic of your 92 except I take no drugs and stopped years ago checking my PSA after RP in 93. I know you are not as old as I, but I hope you are mentoring someone with your degree of caring and knowledge for the younger guys coming on. The Best, Chuck.
